LEAD OF ORGANIZATION AND WELLBEING

[email protected]

Rikki Hubbard serves as the Lead of Organization and Wellbeing for Blue Zones Project Riverside. A proud Riverside native, Rikki is a graduate of California Baptist University (CBU), where she met her husband, Bryce. Together, they have three children, whom they lovingly adopted from foster care.

Before joining the Blue Zones Project Riverside team, Rikki taught third grade at a local school. Her career path shifted when she became a full-time caregiver to support her children’s transformative healing journeys. This transition required immense dedication and discipline. In this unique opportunity, Rikki found purpose in helping her children heal, though she felt she had lost her own sense of ikigai—her reason for being.

As a foster parent, Rikki faced the emotional highs and lows that come with the role. To regain balance and control in her life, she turned her focus to self-care, incorporating movement, healthy eating, and finding community. This journey led her to t3 Fitness, a local gym in Riverside. Not long after becoming a client, Rikki was presented with the opportunity to purchase the business. Inspired by the positive physical and mental transformation she experienced as a client, Rikki embraced the challenge and became the owner of t3 Fitness in June 2008.

Rikki rebranded t3 Fitness as a fitness studio for women, by women. Her vision was to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where women in her community could prioritize their health and well-being. Over the years, she has witnessed thousands of women reclaim their health, build confidence, and foster community. This transformative impact ignited a passion in Rikki to expand her efforts beyond t3 Fitness, aspiring to bring holistic wellbeing to all of Riverside.

Deeply committed to her community, Rikki graduated from the Riverside Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Riverside Class of 2024. A recognized wellness advocate, she actively collaborates with local organizations, schools, and workplaces by hosting health fairs, lunch-and-learns, fitness classes, and wellness presentations. She also served as a founding board member of Girls on the Run, a nonprofit that empowers young girls through life skills and running programs.

Rikki’s dedication to fostering wellbeing led her to Blue Zones Project Riverside, where she works to make healthy living accessible for all. Her goal is to create an environment where the healthiest choices are the easiest choices, spanning workplaces, schools, grocery stores and corner markets, and restaurants. She envisions a more connected Riverside community, united by a shared commitment to living healthier, happier, and longer lives—together.

When not serving her community, Rikki enjoys hiking, attending concerts, learning to play tennis, cheering on the Anaheim Ducks, and supporting her kids’ activities.
