Andrew Guzman

PROJECT MANAGER COORDINATOR

[email protected]

Andrew Guzman is the Project Manager Coordinator for Blue Zones Project Riverside, where he plays a key role in keeping the initiative organized and moving forward. He helps coordinate timelines, track progress toward community well-being goals, and ensure that projects run smoothly across teams. Andrew develops systems that make collaboration and reporting more efficient, supports planning for community events and outreach, and helps maintain alignment between the People, Places, and Policy pillars of the project.

A Riverside native who spent his early childhood in the city’s Eastside neighborhood, Andrew later relocated to San Francisco, where he earned associate degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. While working at the YMCA of San Francisco, he discovered a deep passion for community service that continues to guide his work today.

Before joining Blue Zones Project, Andrew worked with the Riverside Community Health Foundation, supporting programs that improved access to health resources and promoted healthy living. His experience across both direct service and operational roles gives him a unique ability to connect people, processes, and data to achieve shared goals.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys attending community gatherings, going to live music events, and learning new things — he is currently learning to play the drums and looks forward to completing his degree in Applied Mathematics as his next adventure. His favorite plant slant recipe is his mom’s vegan mushroom menudo, a comforting dish that reminds him of home and the joy of sharing good food with loved ones.
