If you’re a patron of the Riverside Airport Café or have mobility needs, you may use the café’s lot at 6951 Flight Rd, Riverside, CA 92504.

The event officially starts at 10 AM, but join us in the Harvest Parking Lot at 9:45 AM to walk into the airport together. Please join us! We will be led in by Girls on the Run Riverside and the North High School Drum Line. This gentle walk is 0.7 miles, with flat terrain. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be ready for some natural movement. The first 500 walkers will receive a free water bottle.

Yes. Starting at 10:30 AM, shuttles will leave from the parking lot and take guests to the airport every 15 minutes. Each shuttle holds 50 people.

Yes! We love kids. This is an event for everyone of any age! Specifically for kids, we’ll have coloring pages, library storytime, food samples, musical instruments, performances, airplanes to explore, family zumba, walking-bus activity, and more.

Yes! The program begins on the main stage with a welcome from Blue Zones’ Danny Buettner Jr.; Riverside’s mayor, Patricial Lock Dawson, and Riverside Ward 3 Councilmember, Steven Robillard. We’ll also hear from Leimamo Taylor, owner of the Riverside Airport Cafe – our first Blue Zones Project Approved Restaurant in Riverside – at the official ribbon cutting from the main stage.

There will be many activities throughout the event – highlighting the five original blue zones regions and the Power 9. Agendas will be posted throughout the event.

Of course! There will be tickets for free samples for the first 500 attendees from food trucks – Bolcupop, Bon Appétit Shawarma, Tasty Tamales, and World Famous Tacos. The Riverside Airport Cafe (featuring their new, Blue Zones Approved menu) and other vendors will also be available to purchase additional food. Cooking demonstrations throughout the event will feature free samples of Blue Zones recipes.

So many! There will be branded Blue Zones Water Bottles for adults and kids, yoga mats, hats, mugs, pickle ball paddles, towels, succulent plants, pencils, shade trees, and the opportunity to win $50 gift cards to local grocery stores.

Wear comfortable clothes so you can participate in all the natural movement activities. And, if you sign a Blue Zones Project pledge, you’ll receive a free Blue Zones Project Riverside T-shirt. It should be sunny and beautiful (but the event happens rain or shine), but don’t forget to hydrate and wear sunscreen.
